About the course

Background

Sutherland observed the body's natural fluid dynamics in both health and disease. Based on this, he developed a practical approach to either redirecting, facilitating, or calming fluids so that the body can better utilize the available forces that also drive our entire fetal development. This has a crucial impact on good health for the rest of our lives.

When you understand how to read and utilize the dynamics that are already present, you have an effective and gentle tool to help guide the healing process in the right direction.

Practically, the focus is on being able to sense and apply fluid dynamics to treat tissue hyperactivity/stagnation, lack of exchange, or contact between different parts of the body.

Among other things, the course covers balanced fluid tension (BFT), lateral fluctuation, fluid drive, intraosseous restrictions, Stillness, and perceptual differences between CV4 and EV4.

Goals

The purpose of the course is, among other things, to give you a deeper understanding of the natural properties of water in nature—and thus also in the body—as well as how we can use it therapeutically to achieve deep and lasting results on, among other things, complex bodily patterns and areas of stagnation or overactivity.

The principles can be applied to very persistent and painful conditions such as arthritis, frozen shoulder, scoliosis, spinal stenosis, or long-term discomfort in the pelvis, lower back, and neck/shoulders, as well as intraosseous problems.
