About the course

Background

A day focusing on the brain and ventricular system.

We will review the overall embryological development of the brain and ventricular system so that you gain an understanding of the shape of the ventricular system and thus also acquire access to it in terms of perception.

What do we know from research about what actually moves CSF, and what were A.T. Still and W.G. Sutherland's thoughts on CSF?

What is the function of CSF flow in relation to neurodegenerative diseases, and what qualities can we access through palpation?

We explore various aspects of CNS/CSF theoretically and practically, so you can incorporate it more consciously into the way you examine and treat your patients.

Take that home with you

That you will be able to feel different qualities of CSF and CNS. And develop a better sense of whether the CNS floats freely in its "waterbeds" or not.

That you gain a greater understanding of the embryological development of the brain and ventricular system in order to better evaluate and treat it.

That you become even more familiar with your own practical pitfalls, so that the CNS does not subsequently have an inappropriate treatment reaction.

That you can better embrace both current research and the historical context in which we are academically grounded.
