About the course

BLT Rehearsal day with Susan Turner

Susan Turner is returning to Denmark to teach a BLT refresher day, specifically aimed at those who have already completed the BLT course at SCCO.

The day will focus on the pelvis and lower extremities and gives you a unique opportunity to be taught directly by Sue—and to refresh and refine your skills in a confidential learning environment.

New comprehensive textbook on BLT

In the summer of 2024, Sue published the book, Balanced Ligamentous Tension in Osteopathic Practice —the first comprehensive work on BLT, complete with video links to practical exercises. The book conveys W.G. Sutherland's approach to the body as a whole and is the result of many years of work. With it, Sue wants to share her deep professional experience with a wider circle of osteopaths.

The legacy of Anne L. Wales

The book is also a tribute to Sue's late American mentor, Anne L. Wales, D.O. Anne was a student of W.G. Sutherland and eventually became his close friend and co-tutor.

Anne L. Wales has summarized the two central works on Sutherland's teachings: Contributions of Thought and Teachings in the Science of Osteopathy.

Sue is as close to the source as it is possible to get in our time.
